- 4 cups peeled cored sliced apples
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons margarine (optional)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon each: ground nutmeg, salt
- 3/4 cup granola with nuts
- Combine all ingredients, except granola, in slow cooker; cover and cook on high until apples are tender, 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Sprinkle each serving with granola.
