- 6–8 fresh bratwurst(1.5 pounds)
- 2–3 bottles (12 ounces each) beer
- 1 cup each: chopped onion, sliced red and green bell pepper
- 8 ounces sliced baby bella mushrooms
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 6–8 hot dog buns
- Combine all ingredients, except salt, pepper, and buns, in slow cooker; cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve brats in buns with vegetable mixture spooned over.
