- 32 ounces dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 3/4–1 cup half-and-half or light cream
- 3–4 tablespoons rum or brandy (optional)
- Dippers: whole strawberries, fruit pieces, angel food cake
- Combine chocolate and half-and-half in 1.5-quart slow cooker
- Cover and cook until chocolate is melted, 30 to 45 minutes.
- Whisk in rum; serve with dippers
