- Dutch process cocoa, sugar -1/2 cup each
- Ground cinnamon-1/2 teaspoon
- Pinch salt
- Whole milk -2 quarts
- Vanilla -1/2 teaspoon
- Combine cocoa, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in slow cooker. Whisk in enough milk to make a smooth paste.
- Whisk in remaining milk and vanilla.
- Cover and cook on high until hot and steaming (do not boil) for about 2 hours.
- Turn heat to low to keep warm for serving
